Procedure

Apply Online

1. To Apply for PSTM Certificate (Person Studied in Tamil Medium), the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. The applicant has to click the “User login” from the sign in option.
3. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “New User? SignUp here” button.
4. The applicant has to enter all the details for registration process with the captcha code and click the “Sign Up” button.
5. Now, the applicant will receive the OTP from the given mobile number.
6. Enter the OTP and click the “Verify OTP” button.
7. The applicant needs to click the “Click here to login” for login.
8. Now the applicant has to log in with the username and password, captcha code and click the “Login” button.
9. The applicant has to select the application form from the menu list.
10. Enter all the details in the application form.
11. And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
12. Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
13. Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
14. The application fee for the PSTM certificate is Rs. 60 - 100, check the details and click the “Make a Payment” option.
15. After completing the payment, the page will show up with the acknowledgement receipt.
16. The applicant can download it for further reference.
17. The applicant has to log in with the username and password, captcha code and click the “Login” button.
18. The applicant has to click the “Application status check” from the service list.
19. Enter the Application number and click the “Check Status” option.
20. The applicant can check the status of the application.
21. Now, the applicant has to click the “Click here to Download Certificate” option.
22. The applicant can check the details and download the certificate.
23. This entire process can be completed within 20 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for PSTM in-person, please approach the school where you studied and get in touch with the headmaster or principal and request the same.
2. Also, make sure you take all the "Required Documents" that are listed below for making the application.
3. They should be able to guide you with making the application.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the PSTM certificate in Tamil Nadu, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
