Procedure

1. To replace a damaged ID card, applicants at any household registration office.
2. Submit a request to obtain a replacement ID card to the registry office.
3. Pay for the ID card.
4. Once your ID is ready for pick up, you must personally collect your ID. You may also instruct another person to claim your card by issuing a Letter of Proxy.

Instructions

The competent authorities in charge of the administration of household registration are the Ministry of the Interior (hereinafter referred to as MOI) in the central competent authority, the municipal governments in municipalities, and the county(city) governments in counties(cities).

The National ID card is only issued to individuals belonging to a registered household.

To replace a damaged ID card, applicants may apply at any household registration office.
