Apply Online
- To add or delete name in ration card, the applicant needs to visit the following website: Link
- On the given screen, click on the "Login" option on the menu and select "Citizen Login".
- If you have already registered with the portal, please enter the login credentials and click "Login" button.
- If you are new user, please select "Citizen" option on the menu and select "Citizen Registration" to register yourself by entering all the requested information and login.
- Once logged in, Please choose the option appropriately as explained below to start with the application.
- "Deletion of Member" to delete a member name from ration card.
- "Inclusion of Child Name" to add a child's name in ration card.
- "Inclusion of Adult Name" to add an adult in ration card.
- Once all the information is filled and requested documents has been uploaded as requested.
- Please pay the appropriate fee and submit the application.
- Your application will be processed by the authorities and the application status can be understood by providing appropriate information through the following link : Application Status
Apply In-Person
- Ration Card holder should approach your near by ration shop to add or delete name in ration card.
- Please go to the shop and check with the personnal to add or delete name in ration card and they should be able to help you.
- Applicant shall obtain the form from the respective office (please pay for the form if required) Or a written/electronically typed application on A4 plain sheet as advised shall be used.
- Please submit the completed application along with required documents to the respective authority.
- Authorities after checking the submitted application along with attached documents will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
- Keep it safe for future reference.
- This application will be forwarded to the concerned Ward/Grama Panchayath official for verification. The concerned official visits the house of the applicant for verification and approves the request, if the applicant is found eligible.
- The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about date of visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.
- After ground level verification ration card will be issued in 10 daysor as notified by the department
Apply through CSC:
- To add or delete name in ration card the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC Link
- NOTE:To check the contact details of the CSC centre, please select the District and Block.
- The applicant has to visit the nearest centre.
- The applicant has to inform all the details to the respective operator.
- The operator will enter the details in the portal with the given details.
- Please pay as per applicable service charges if any.
- The processing time for this procedure is immediate.

- A valid ration card holder.
- The applicant and his/her family must be Indian citizens and should be resident of the state.
- The applicant or his family members must not possess any family card in any State in India (If they had one, it has to be withdrawn).
- The applicant and members of the family must be close relatives.

- Usually Family identity card is valid for lifetime and will be renewed in 5 years or based on announcement.
