Jharkhand - Online Obtain Contract Labour Licence for Contractor

- Step 3 : In the given page please click “Click here to apply online” hypertext which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below against “Contract Labour Licence for Contractor (Amendment)”to get login page.

- Step 4 : In the given login page, please enter the login credentials and click “Login” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below.

- Step 5 : If you are a new user then click on the “New Registration” option which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below.

- Step 6 : You will be directed to the registration page, please select your preferred category by clicking on "Select User Category" drop down menu which is pointed with a "RED" arrow in the image given below.

- Step 7 : A pop-up display will appear after selecting the category, please click on "OK" button which is highlighted in "YELLOW" and then enter the required details and click on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below.

- Step 8 : Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image below.

- Step 9 : An acknowledgement on your successful registration will be displayed on your screen. You will receive the "UserID" and link to update your password on your registered mail. Please click on the “ChangePassword" link which is pointed in “RED” arrow in the image below.

- Step 10 : Now, you will be prompted to set your password. Then, login into your account by entering your credentials and click on “Login” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below.

- Step 11 : Once logged in, the applicant will have to click on “Apply CAF” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below to proceed with the process.

- Step 12 : A window will open with a question whether you already know your services. Please choose your option ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and follow the prompts accordingly. Then click on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image below.

- Step 13 : You will be taken to "Self Service Selection" page as shown in the image below, where you have to enter the details as required.

- Step 14 : At the bottom of the page to select the department, choose "Department of Labour Employment & Training" hypertext which is highlighted in "RED" in the image given below from the "Select Department" drop down menu .

- Step 15 : To select the service, click on "Contract Labour Licence for Contractor (Amendment)" hypertext which is highlighted in "GREEN" from the "Select Service" drop down menu and submit the application online using “Submit” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below.

- Step 16 : Your "CAF Details" will be displayed along with your application in the "Mandatory State Approval List" section. Please click on "Apply" button which is highlighted in "RED" in the image given below.

- Step 17 : Now, a page will appear on the screen as given below, in case you haven't applied for "Contract Labour Act". Follow the steps to apply for it.

- Step 18 : To proceed, select "Services" tab which is pointed with "GREEN" arrow in the image. In the list of options please select the following, "Contract Labour Act -> Contractor -> Licence" to finally "Online Registration" hypertext which is highlighted in "YELLOW" in the image below.

- Step 19 : The applicant will be taken to their dashboard, here you have to click on “Apply CAF” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below to proceed with the process.

- Step 20 : A window will open with a question whether you already know your services. Please choose your option ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and follow the prompts accordingly. Then click on “Submit” button which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image below.

- Step 23 : To select the service, click on "Contractor Licence under Contract Labour Act" hypertext which is highlighted in "GREEN" from the "Select Service" drop down menu and submit the application online using “Submit” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below.

- Step 24 : Again your "CAF Details" will be displayed along with your application in the "Mandatory State Approval List" section. Please click on "Apply" button which is highlighted in "RED" in the image given below.

- Step 25 : On the pop-up screen, click on "OK" button which is highlighted in "GREEN" in the image given below.

- Step 26 : An application form titled "Contract Labour Act" will display on your screen. Enter the 'BASIC DETAILS' and 'ADDRESS OF THE CONTRACTOR' as given in the image below.

- Step 27 : In the next section, enter "AGENT/MANAGER DETAILS" as shown in the image below.

- Step 28 : Later, fill in all the required details under "PRINCIPAL EMPLOYER DETAILS" and "OTHER DETAILS" sections as given in the image below.

- Step 29 : In the "DOCUMENT UPLOAD" section please enter all the necessary documents and at the end check in "I/We do hereby certify that all the above mentioned are true..." box which is pointed with "RED" arrow. Then, click on "Save" button which is highlighted in "YELLOW" in the image below.

- Step 30 : The application will be processed further and you would receive update for doing the payment of fees. Pay the amount using the payment gateway.
- Step 31 : A system generated acknowledgement will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Step 32 : An SMS alert will be sent to the applicant regarding application submission.
- Step 33 : Application will be forwarded online to the concerned department.
- Step 34 : After scrutiny by the designated authority, short fall in the documentation if any will be intimated through SMS along with the date of inspection.
- Step 35 : Department authorities will verify the documents, Inspect the premises and clarify their queries.
- Step 36 : The Application along with report will be forwarded to the issuing authority concerned.
- Step 37 : If the applications is found to be correct, applicant will get notification about the sanction through SMS in their registered mobile number.
- Step 38 : This certificate shall be hand delivered or sent through post as per applicable norms.
Note:
- Make sure to keep the “First-Aid Facilities” in the premises during inspection.
- It is advised to submit additional set of copy of the documents and get counter signed for your safety while applying with government department.
