Jamaica - Online Renew of Private Carriage License

Step 2 : To apply for the renewal of a private Carrier license online, you have to submit your application to the Transport Authority (TA) online.To submit your application to TA via their online portal, visit : Apply Online.

Step 3 : If you are a register user, enter your “Email Address” and “Password” to “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” and if you don’t have an account, click on “Register Now” Button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image to create an account.

Step 4 : In the new page, enter your email address and “Submit” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 5 : You will then receive a notification informing you that an email has been sent to your email account with instructions on how to complete your account setup.

Step 6 : Go to your email account and click on the link form TA which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow in the below image to direct you to the TA online registration form.

Step 7 : Fill in all the required information to create an account.

Step 8 : After filling all the details click on the “Create Account” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 9 : Upon a successful creation of your account, return to the logging in page by clicking on the “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 10 : Sign in by entering your registered email address and password and click on the “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to access your account.

Step 11 : Once logged in, click on “Submit Application” which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 12 : In the new page select type of application as “Renewal” which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image and then select location where the license will be collected then click on “Next” button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 13 : In the new page enter the “Road license number” and select the type of the license as “Private Carrier” which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow in the below image.

Step 14 : Enter you TRN and the vehicle chassis number and then click on “Submit” which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image to proceed to the next page.

Step 15 : On this page provide all the required information and upload all the required supporting documents and then select “ADD TO CART”.

Step 16 : You will then be directed to the application cart and payment details page. View the payment information and click on “Check Out” to proceed to payment.

Step 17 : In the payment platform, review the payment and confirm by clicking on the “Confirm” button to complete the payment details.

Step 18 : Enter the required information from your credit/debit or visa and click on “Pay”. Then a credit card authentication will be done.

Step 19 : Upon completion of the authentication, you will receive two emails in your inbox for the confirmation of the payment from the TA and pay-Gate respectively.

Step 20 : Print the confirmation report from TA and take it to the select TA office to obtain your renewed license.
