Jamaica - Online Obtain Stage Carriage Licence

Step 2 : To apply for a road/stage license, you should visit the Transports Authority (TA) office. Please view the TA contact details via this link:Link.First determine the kind of road license you want to apply for and visit the TA to obtain the application from to apply in person or complete the online application to apply online via this link:Apply Online.

Step 3 : If you are a register user, enter your “Email Address” and “Password” to “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” and if you don’t have an account, click on “Register Now” Button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image to create an account.

Step 4 : In the new page, enter your email address and “Submit” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 5 : You will then receive a notification informing you that an email has been sent to your email account with instructions on how to complete your account setup.

Step 6 : Go to your email account and click on the link form TA which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow in the below image to direct you to the TA online registration form.

Step 7 : Fill in all the required information to create an account.

Step 8 : After filling all the details click on the “Create Account” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 9 : Upon a successful creation of your account, return to the logging in page by clicking on the “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 10 : Sign in by entering your registered email address and password and click on the “Login” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to access your account.

Step 11 : Once logged in, click on “Submit Application” which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 12 : In the new page select type of application as “New” which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow in the below image and then select location where the license will be collected then click on “Next” button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 13 : In the new page enter the road license number and select the type of the license.Enter you TRN and the vehicle chassis number and then click on “Submit” which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to proceed to the next page.

Step 14 : Pay the license fee using the online platform.

Step 15 : While for offline application, you should submit the complete application form along all the required documents to the TA for processing after payment of the required license fess.
