Arunachal Pradesh - Apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

ProcedureEdit
- The “Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility (APTET)” is conducted by the Department of Education to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
- There will be an official notification release by the respective board for APTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the APTET.
Apply Online
- The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link (This link may change as per the academics)
- In the given home page, please scroll down and select the exam type from the dropdown list under “Select Exam” and click on the “submit” button to reach the instruction page.
- Please go through the details. Click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Click Here To Proceed” button to reach the “New Candidate Registration” page.
- Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Make sure to provide a valid Email ID and mobile number at the prompted space as appropriate.Upload the applicable document as per the applicant’s category as appropriate. Once the mandatory details are filled, please click on the “submit” button.
- The applicant would have received a confirmation mail, please access the mail and complete the verification process and return to the “New Candidate Registration” page.
- Please scroll down to the “Only Registered Candidate Signin” section. Lease enter the login credentials as appropriate and click on the “LOGIN” button to reach the dashboard page.
- Here, please click on the “Complete Application Form” option provided on the left part of the screen to reach online form page.
- Please complete the prompts as appropriate. The applicant shall upload the required documents as per the prompts under the “Upload Documents” section as appropriate. Once the required details are filled and required documents are uploaded, please click on the “submit” button to reach the dashboard again.
- Now, please click on the “Upload Images” option under “Complete Application Form” provided on the left part of the page to reach the “Upload Scanned Files” page.
- Please upload photograph and signature using the applicable prompts as appropriate. Once the documents are uploaded, please click on the “submit” button.
- The applicant shall wait for the challan download and upload option active from the website. Please look for the notification and complete the rest of the process to complete the online submission of the application.
- This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit
- The candidate should be the citizen of India.
- The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
- For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
- Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
- Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.

- Fee of Rs.250/- for paper 1 or paper 2 for APTS / Differently abled category.
- Fee of Rs.500/- for paper 1 or paper 2 for General / OBC / Non APST category.
- Fee of Rs.500/- for paper 1 and paper 2 for APTS / Differently abled category.
- Fee of Rs.800/- for paper 1 and paper 2 for General / OBC / Non APST category.

- The approved application is valid for the period (year) for which the examination is notified.
