Procedure

• The “Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)” is conducted by the Department of School Education to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
• There will be an official notification release by the respective board for APTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the APTET.

Apply Online

1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
2. The applicant will reach the “ANDHRA PRADESH TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST:: MAY-2018” home page. In the given page, please scroll down and click on the “Click Here For Payment” option next to “Online Payment” to reach the online application page.
3. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Once the prompts are filled, please click on the checkbox for the declaration. Please scroll down and upload the documents as appropriate under the “Photograph with Signature” section.
4. Once the mandatory detail is filled, please click the checkbox for the declaration. Please enter the captcha at the given space as appropriate.
5. Please click on the “UPLOAD” button at the bottom to reach the online application form page. Please complete the prompts as appropriate and click on the “Submit” button to get a new page.
6. Please use the applicable button to download the application form. Please take a printout of the application form for future reference.
7. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

Eligibility

• The candidate should be the citizen of India.
• The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
• For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
• Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
• Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
