Apply In-Person:
- To Link Aadhaar Card to Small Saving Scheme, the applicant has to approach the desired post office Link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned branch officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- There is no fee for Link Aadhaar Card to Small Saving Scheme.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgement receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status and link process completion will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- This entire process can be completed within a week or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- To Link Aadhaar Card to Small Saving Scheme, the applicant has to make the application online via link

- If the applicant is a new user, click the “New User Activate” and click the “Continue” button.
- Create the password and click the “Register” button.

- Enter the applicant's 12- digits Aadhaar number therein and click on “confirm”.
- Select the Indian post bank account to which the Aadhaar number needs to be linked.
- To inquire whether the Aadhaar number update request has been processed or not, click on the “Inquiry” option on the homepage of the website.
- The entire process is completed within a minute.
