Procedure

Apply online

1. To view or update status of Immigration or Citizenship Applications online, the applicant has to visit the following Apply online
2. Visit the link and read the terms and conditions. Scroll down to the bottom, click the tick box and click “Continue” button.
3. In the next page, the applicant has to enter the required information in respective fields.
4. The details required may be Identification number, names, date and place of birth of the applicant.
5. Fill the details as required and click “Continue” button. Similarly, complete all the further sections, by following the onscreen instructions.
6. Once completed, click the applicable button to submit the request. Upon receipt of the necessary details, the application status will be displayed in the screen.

Eligibility

• Any person in Alberta, who has applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada, can apply.
• Persons applied for Canadian citizenship for them or applied for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen are also eligible.
• Persons who have applied to renounce or resume a Canadian citizenship can also apply.

Fees

The service is free of cost.
