Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Renew Appraiser License, the applicant has to approach the Canadian Real Estate Association.
2. Many licensing bodies require candidates to complete a specified number of hours of supervised work experience under a qualified appraiser.

13. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
14. The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.
15. Upon approval, the applicant will receive a renewed appraiser license, often with a new expiration date, allowing him/her to continue working legally as a real estate appraiser.
16. After renewing the license, it's crucial to continue meeting all the ongoing requirements, such as completing required education and reporting any changes in your circumstances, to ensure you remain in compliance with licensing regulations.
