- To Obtain a Certificate of Good Health, the applicant has to approach the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Office link
- The applicant needs to schedule a medical exam with a doctor who is authorized by the Canadian government to perform immigration medical exams.
- At the medical exam, the authorized doctor will perform a physical exam, take a medical history, and conduct any necessary tests or screenings.
- After the exam, the authorized doctor will submit his/her medical exam results to IRCC.
- The applicant needs to wait for IRCC to review the results and issue a Certificate of Good Health.
- If IRCC requires additional information or documentation, the applicant needs to provide it promptly to avoid delays in the processing of the Certificate of Good Health.
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- Once the medical exam results are approved, the applicant will receive a Certificate of Good Health from IRCC.
- There is no fee for Obtaining a Certificate of Good Health.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
