Apply by Mail

  1. To Obtain a License of Occupation, the applicant has to approach the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESRD) Link
  2. The applicant will need to write a letter explaining their project and why they need it.
  3. The applicant will need to submit additional documents. Find a list of documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The applicant will need to pay fees to obtain the license. Find fee-related information under the “Fees” section of this page.
  5. The applicant will need to submit the application by mailing it to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page.
  6. The application will be forwarded to the relevant authorities. The applicant shall receive their license by mail.

EligibilityEdit

  • The applicant must be a resident of Alberta.



FeesEdit

  • The applicant will need to pay a fee of 50$ plus GST.
  • The applicant will need to pay a digital mapping fee of 125$ payable to the government of Alberta.
