Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To get the license for commercial Motor Cycle, the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office or else you can download it from the website. Application Form
3. Before applying for the Commercial Motorcycle License, the applicant must pass the Driving Test, and Level 1 Defensive Driving Course.
4. While applying the applicant must carry the Class 1 learners permit and it must be surrendered to the CSO in the LTA.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
6. The application form should be filled with necessary details and along with the required documents it should be submitted to the CSO – Customer Service Officer.
7. The CSO will update the application details in the LTA system, and now the application fees must be paid, which is $4.74.
8. After paying the fees, the applicant must go to the card printing officer to get the commercial Motorcycle driving license card.

10. The processing time for getting the commercial motorcycle driving license card will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

Eligibility

• The applicant must have the class 1 learners permit to get the Commercial Motorcycle Vehicle License.
• The applicant should also pass the Driving Test and Level 1 DDC.

Fees

• Application fee - $4.74
• Commercial Motor Cycle License fee (per annum) - $19.90
• Commercial Motor Cycle License fee (6 months) - $10.90

Validity

• The validity of the Commercial Motorcycle vehicle driving license will be mentioned in the license card issued to the applicant by the authorities in the LTA.
• The Commercial Motorcycle driving license must be renewed at least 28 days before the expiry date mentioned in the license.
