ProcedureEdit

  1. Electricity bill payment for the electricity consumed by a consumer shall be paid to the respective state electricity board (department).
  2. “Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission” (APSERC) is a state-owned electricity regulation and distribution department for Electricity in Arunachal Pradesh.
  3. Payment of electricity bill shall be paid by
    1. Pay In-Person
    2. Pay by Online
    3. Pay through App
    4. Pay through other sources

Tariff:

  • There are different amount charged for residential and commercial users. The rate of per unit charge varies with state to state and as per the slab decided by the respective electricity board.

  • If payments are not received within last date for payment, the bill will be treated as invalid and the amount outstanding will be carried over to the next month’s bill as arrear. Simple interest @2% will be charged as penalty on outstanding amount for each 30 days successive period or part thereof until the amount is paid in full.

PAY IN PERSON

  • In the state of Arunachal Pradesh, consumers are classified based on the areas to arrive at the electricity charges.
  • Security Deposit has to be paid by all the consumers of electricity covering the period of billing cycle. Estimated security deposit for different categories of consumers shall be calculated as per the methodology indicated by the Commission in the Arunachal Pradesh Electricity Supply Code-2013.
  • Energy bill, based in actual consumption shall be served to the consumer at reasonable interval. The amount of each bill shall be adjusted from the amount of advance & security deposit on closure of the temporary services.

  1. Go to the respective division as you found through above modes and pay your charges
  2. The counter staff will issue you the receipt for the payment made

  2. Please select “find nearest Bharat BillPay outlet” option provided at the bottom of the page.
  3. enter your pin code at the box provided and hit “Go” to reach the next page with contact details. Please follow the page to get the details of payment outlet and pay their directly

  2. Please select the Respective electricity department and follow the screen prompt and proceed further to make the payment

  • The individual should be a resident of the state.
  • Consumers are eligible to pay the electricity bill.
  • Every applicant has to have a meter reading to calculate consumption

FeesEdit

  • Electricity bills are generated with the slab rates applicable for the units consumed as per the state regulations
  • As a consumer, it is mandatory to pay prescribed amount as advised by respective board. (even the electricity is not consumed, each states has different default charges levied to its active consumers and the same has to be paid)

  • The electricity bill generated for the period has to be paid before the due date.
  • There will be a penalty for late payment. Authorities has the power to suspend the connection
  • This payment is valid for the consumed electricity units
