Procedure

1. Fill out an Application for Remote Area Driver License, Permit or ID Card.
2. Mail the completed application form to:
   Juneau Driver Licensing
   State of Alaska
   Division of Motor Vehicles
   PO Box 110221
   Juneau AK 99811-0221
3. Pass the vision test.
4. Pay the fee.
5. Surrender existing license or submit original identity documentation.
