  1. Go to the DMV office.
  2. Surrender your current identification card.
  3. Have your picture taken.
  4. Pay your fee.

FeesEdit

  • Younger than 60 years old: $15
  • 60 years old or older: free



ValidityEdit

State identification cards are valid for five years after issuance and expire on the applicant's birth date. Identification cards issued to applicants that are 16 to 20 years old will expire 90 days after the applicant's 21st birthday.
