- To Request to Determine Foreign Vendor Tax Payments, the applicant has to the applicant the applicant has to approach the United States federal Court offices link

- The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit the completed form along with the necessary details to the administrative office email - tax_compliance@ao.uscourts.gov
- The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Once all the verification process is completed, the office will contact the applicant for the tax payment details.
- The applicant gets the tax statement after completion of payment.
- The processing time for this procedure takes up to 2 weeks.

- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference, it contains the application summary and contact details of the person to be contacted.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets via email.
- The processing time for this procedure takes up to 2 weeks.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Foreign vendors are defined as any vendor whose business headquarters location is outside of the US, the Virgin Islands, or Puerto Rico. Foreign vendors must go through the same approvals process as domestic vendors to become a university business partner.
- Foreign vendors are placed on a payment "hold" to ensure that all requests for payments are reviewed for compliance prior to payment being processed.

Payments made to the foreign vendor are
- Exempt (or subject to a lower withholding rate) due to a tax treaty,
- Effectively connected with the conduct of a trade or business in the U.S. (i.e., the vendor files a U.S. income tax return. This applies to payments to foreign business entities only), or
- Made to a foreign entity with U.S. tax-exempt status.
