Apply by Mail
- To Obtain Poultry Export Verification (PEV) Service, the applicant has to mail the completed application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, agriculture marketing service link
- The applicant has to download the application form from the given following link
- The applicant has to enter all the necessary details in the application form.
- Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit the completed form and the necessary documents to the mailing address.
- The mailing address details are mentioned under the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- Once all the verification is done by the authority, the applicant receives a notification through a mail.
- The applicant has to visit the field office to get the permit.
- Once the suppliers get the approved from the programme to supply the products, they added to the official listing of PVR suppliers.
- The processing time for this procedure is up to 15 days.
Note:
Approved PEV suppliers must submit an updated list of all eligible product items intended for shipment.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- The USDA Poultry Export Verification (PEV) Program was developed to assist the U.S. Poultry Industry in marketing poultry to the European Union, but may be expanded to include other specific countries or groups of countries. The PEV Program requirements apply to eligible U.S. suppliers of poultry products that supply poultry to processing establishments for export to the European Union.
- Suppliers who wish to meet the specified product requirements for the USDA, under the PEV Program must meet these requirements through an approved USDA Quality System Assessment (QSA) Program.
