Uttarakhand - Apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

ProcedureEdit

  • The “Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET)” is conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Secondary education (UBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
  • There will be an official notification release by the respective board for UTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the UTET.


Apply Online

  1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
  2. In the given page, please click on the “New Registration” button to reach the instructions page. Please go through the instructions. Please click on the checkbox for the declaraation and click on the “Proceed to Registration” button to reach the “New user Registration” page.
  3. Please complete the prompts as appropriate. Please enter valid mobile number and Email ID at the appropriate prompts. Please enter the captcha at the given space as appropriate and then click on the “Submit” button to get a “New user Registration” popup. At the same time, an “OTP” will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number.
  4. Please enter the received “OTP” at the prompted space as appropriate and click on the “Verify OTP” button to reach the “Applicant’s Home Page” page. Here, please click on the “Apply for U-TET 2021” button to reach the dashboard page.
  5. Please complete the page prompts for “1. Application Form” section as appropriate. Once the mandatory details are filled, please click on the “Save & Next” button to reach the “2. Upload Photo” section.
  6. The applicant shall follow the given prompts to choose the photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression. Please use the applicable button to upload the documents as appropriate. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Save & Next” Button to reach the “3. Preview” section.
  7. Please go through the preview page. If all are in place, then click on the checkbox for the declaration and then click the “Save & Next” button to reach the “4. Payment” section.
  8. Please click the checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Proceed to Payment” button to reach the payment gateway page.
  9. Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the submission of application. The applicant will get a new screen with “Your payment was successful” message.
  10. The applicant shall visit the home page again. Please login using the login credentials as appropriate under the “UTET-2021 Applicant Login” section on the right part of the screen as appropriate. Enter the captcha at the prompted space as appropriate and click on the “Log In” button to reach the dashboard.
  11. Here, please click on the “Print Application for U-TET 2020” button to print the application form for future reference.
  12. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit

  • The candidate should be the citizen of India.
  • The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
  • Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
