Apply Online
STEP 1: Register the Institute

1. To Register Dental X-Ray Unit, the applicant can make the application online via Atomic Energy Regulatory Board website link
2. Then Click on the button e-LORA, which is available on website home page and click on “Go directly to e-LORA System” and “Click to proceed for e-LORA server”.
3. It will redirect you to the following screen of “e-LORA home page” and then click on Guidelines for Institute Registration to proceed for registration in e-LORA.
4. The applicant has to enter their details of the institute and upload the supporting documents as per the guidelines provided in the following link and register.

STEP 2: Registration of Indigenous Dental X-ray Equipment

1. After login, the applicant will see following screen with various Menu on left hand side. In that the applicant has to Click on Dental X-ray tab (Regulatory Forms>>Medical Diagnostic Radiology>>Dental X-ray.
2. After click on Dental X-ray tab following screen will appear.
3. For both types (existing and new) of dental X-ray equipment manufactured in India, Pl. Select “Equipment manufactured in India” Tab and PROCEED to get the “Application for Registration of New Indigenous Dental X-ray Equipment”
4. The following tabs to be filled up as follows;
   • Employee details
   • Equipment Details
   • Availability of protective accessories and leakage levels
5. After filling all the three tabs (A, B & C as mentioned above) read the terms & conditions and click on Submit. After successful submission you will get email communication that “Your application for obtaining Licence for operation has been approved”.
6. The applicant can also get copy of issued Registration certificate attached with their registered email. Registration certificate can be downloaded from “My Casefile” tab.

STEP 3: Application of Dental X-ray Procurement

1. For both (existing and new) dental X-ray equipment manufactured in Abroad, please select “Equipment manufactured in Abroad” and PROCEED to get the “Application for Dental Procurement (Import)”
2. First select type of equipment and procurement status Then select your 7-model name from the drop-down menu.
3. Provide the details of equipment year of manufacturer and select the authorized supplier/service agency who has performed the QA tests of your equipment.
4. Then click on Submit and on successful submission the applicant will get procurement certificate and email communication in your registered email.

STEP 4: Application for Registration of Imported Dental X-ray Equipment for obtaining licence

1. To obtain Registration for imported equipment select “Registration for Operation” and PROCEED. To get the application form “Application for Registration of New Import Dental X-ray Equipment”
2. Fill the above Employee details, Equipment Details and Availability of protective accessories and leakage respectively. Then click on “Submit”.
3. After acceptance of the application form, the applicant will get registration certificate and same can be downloaded from “My casefile” tab.
4. The processing time for this procedure takes up to 15 -30 days.

Apply by Mail

1. To Register Dental X-Ray Unit, the applicant has to mail the application to Atomic Energy Regulatory Board link

   Note: The applicant residing in all states must only mail the application form or via Online. Approaching Atomic Energy Regulatory Board directly is restricted.

2. The applicant can download the application form from the following link
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form.
6. Mail the application form and the application form and supporting documents to Atomic Energy Regulatory Board. The mailing address is provided in “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
7. The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
10. Once the process gets completed successfully, the applicant gets the permit with the authority's signature through email or via post.
11. The processing time for this procedure takes up to 15 -30 days.
