Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Link Aadhaar Card to Pension Account, the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. The applicant has to click the “NATIONAL PENSION SYSTEM”
3. To start the process, the applicant has to click the “REGISTRATION”.
4. Choose the Aadhaar Online and enter the Aadhar number and click “Generate OTP”.
5. An OTP will be generated and sent to the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar. Enter the OTP and click the “Continue” option.
6. Now the applicant has to fill in the NPS registration form and click “Submit”.
7. There is no fee for Link Aadhaar Card to Pension Account.
8. The successful registration of the link with the Aadhar number will be generated through SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
9. This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.

Apply Through MeeSeva Centres:

1. To Link Aadhaar Card to Pension Account, the applicant can also reach out to the local meeseva centres [1]
2. The operator at the meeseva will open the application form and ask for the necessary information.
3. The information has to be provided by the applicant for completing the application form.
4. Once the operator completes the application form, an OTP will be generated which will be sent to the applicant's mobile number.
5. The OTP has to be provided to the operator for completing the registration process.
6. Now the operator will fill in the NPS registration form and click “Submit”.
7. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the operator's request.
8. The successful registration of the link with the Aadhar number will be generated through SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
9. This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.
