Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Registering Bio-medical waste
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : The applicant must obtain a unique GPCB ID and Password from the board of Gujarat Pollution Control Board.
Step 4 : Click on “Hospital New ID/PWD” option highlighted in Yellow and provide General information like details of the Health care establishment, details of the doctor, number of beds, commencement date of the hospital and details of the CBMWTF.

Step 5 : Enter all the details and click "Save" tab highlighted in RED.

Step 6 : These details will be put into scrutiny and the applicant will be provided the system generated GPCB ID and password through registered mobile number.
Step 7 : The authorized person who wants to apply has to login into the XGN portal using the login details. Then, applicant should click on “Menu” option and update all the information that is asked by the portal.
Step 8 : Also, the applicant should provide details about the process that is going to be carried out in the Health Care Establishment as per category of the Bio-medical generation.
Step 9 : Please provide the details under each tab which are marked as mandatory since now the application is required to be filled for Bio-Medical Waste Registration.
Step 10 : Click on “Update” button once you finish entering all the above mentioned details.
Step 11 : Then, proceed to pay the fees as prescribed by the board and upload the scanned copy of undertaking in pdf format by clicking on “Undertaking” button.
Step 12 : Click on “Save” button and confirmation of application submission can be known by the appearance of Inward number on the screen.
Step 13 : After successful submission of the application, it will be taken to the glance of District Environmental Engineer (DEE) for verification and further processes. After the scrutiny and acceptance of the application, the applicant will be intimated through SMS on Registered mobile number to upload the payment details and save it.
Step 14 : Then, the applicant has to submit the printed copy of duly signed application form, original copy of demand draft, membership certificate of CBMWTF to the concerned regional office.
Step 15 : Now, the applicant will be issued the authorization for Bio-medical waste.
