Procedure

Apply online through Digilocker

1. User shall use the following Link
2. In the given page, please click on the “Login / Register” button provided on the top right corner of the screen to reach the “Login or Create Account” page.
3. Enter your registered mobile number at the prompts as applicable and click on the “Continue” button to reach the “Verify OTP” screen.
4. Please enter the OTP at the prompt as appropriate to complete the OTP authentication process and click on the “Verify” button.
5. On successful verification, the dashboard page will be provided.
6. The page will display documents already issued under the “Your issued documents” section.
7. Please select the Marriage Certificate document type if issued already and it is listed to reach the corresponding page.
8. Please follow the page prompts as appropriate and follow the page requisite to download the marriage certificate.
9. If not displayed under the “Your issued documents” section, then click on the “Drive” option to reach the drive page with used space information.
10. If the citizen already saved his or her document in the drive, please browse through the page for the document type to download.
11. If not saved in Disk, then click on the “Search” or “Search Documents” option or enter the certificate type in the “Search for documents” prompt and click on the search icon.
12. In the resulting page, please look for the “States” section and click your respective state as applicable.
13. In the given state centric page, please click on the certificate type as applicable.
14. The resulting page will display the certificate or the system will prompt the user to enter required details.
15. Please follow the page prompts as appropriate and follow the page requisite to download the certificate.

Apply through Connect Punjab

1. Use the following link to connect Punjab: link.
2. Please use the login option on the right side of the screen and enter credentials appropriately or Register yourself to login.
3. Once logged in, please search for the service and follow the promtps to download or view the certificate.

Apply Online (with Application Number)

1. To Download or View Birth Certificate, the applicant has to make an online process through the following link
2. Click on the “Download certificate” button.
3. Enter the application number and click on “Send OTP” button.
4. Now enter the OTP and click on the "Download" button.
5. Now the birth certificate details are presented on the page.
6. The applicant can check and view the certificate.
7. Also, the applicant can download the birth certificate by clicking the “Print” button.
8. To Download or View the Marriage Certificate, the fee is free of cost.
9. The processing time for this procedure is within a minute.

Apply through CSC

1. To Download or View Birth Certificate, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC link

   NOTE: To check the contact details of CSC centre, please select the District and Block.

2. The applicant has to visit the nearest centre.
3. The applicant has to inform all the details to the respective officer.
4. The officer will enter the details in the portal with the given details.
5. The applicant will get the downloaded certificate from the officer.
6. To Download or View the Marriage Certificate, the fee is free of cost.
7. The processing time for this procedure is within a minute.
