Procedure

You are children of Venezuelan father and mother. You were born abroad. You are nine years old and up. You and your parent can apply for your Identity (C’dula de Identidad) document by birth when following:

1. Prepare the requirements:
• Your original birth certificate
• The certified copy of the birth certificate issued by the Venezuelan Consulate and inserted in the corresponding Civil Registry or the certified copy of the birth certificate evidencing the inscription in the Civil Registry.
• Original and copies of the Minute that issued by the Venezuelan Consulate in the country of birth or by the Civil Registry in Venezuela when present and insert the Foreign birth certificate.
2. Visit a suitable SAIME offices
You must go with your parent if you are under 14 years old. Present the required documents. Follow all of officer’s guiding to apply for your Identity (C’dula de Identidad) document. Then please wait for receiving the Identity document.
