Uganda - Register Payment of Tax Agent Fees

ProcedureEdit

Apply Online:
Step 1
The applicant has to access Uganda Revenue Authority web portal on the following link Uganda Revenue Authority, enter user id (TIN) and password and click login
Step 2
Check on the payment registration

  • Select Other NTR as the appropriate Tax Head
  • Select Uganda Revenue Authority as the appropriate Ministry/Department/Agency

Step 3
Select Tax Agent Registration as the Tax Head Name.

  • Select First Time Registration
  • Select Application Fees; the system will auto populate the non-refundable application fees.

Step 4
Fill in Taxpayer details or enter Tax Identification Number (TIN) of applicant

  • Under Bank details, choose the preferred payment mode, e.g. cash, cheques etc.
  • Select the preferred bank where you want to make the payment
  • Enter given text image
  • Click on Accept and Register

Step 5

  • On submission, the system will generate a payment registration slip that you should print and take to the Bank.

Step 6

  • Upon submission, an Acknowledgment receipt and a Payment registration receipt will be generated

Step 7

  • After making payments, submit the physical documents to any nearest URA Domestic Taxes office

Step 8

  • Upon submission, an Acknowledgment receipt and a Payment registration receipt will be generated.

  • You must be a fit and proper person
  • You must satisfy the qualification and experience requirements.

  • Registration fee for tax payment Agent 200,000.

  • Valid for 12 months.
