ProcedureEdit

  1. To have your divorce registered, you will need to go to your local district office.
  2. A link is provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" section which you can use to obtain contact information to different district offices.
  3. It will be good if you can give the district office a call first before going there. You may ask the officer in charge which documents you will need to bring when you apply for the procedure.


If you are outside Thailand

  1. To register a divorce, both applicants are required to submit their applications in person.
  2. You will need to make an appointment with the consulates official in advance. You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Thai Embassy.
  3. Submit these following documents:
    1. Original Thai Marriage Certificate
    2. Photocopy of valid passport
    3. Photocopy of Thai Identification Card (if applicable)
    4. Photocopy of House Registration (if applicable)
