ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. Yellow Fever Certificate can be obtained form any private or government hospitals in Tanzania that works under Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority contact link
  2. Applicant should provide their information and get a receipt for getting the vaccination injection.
  3. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for getting vaccination.
  4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Fee must be paid as per the doctor’s request at the hospital.
  6. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, applicant must get injected and then, the vaccination certificate will be issued to them almost immediately.
  7. The processing time for this procedure varies from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  • Any individual in Tanzania is eligible for taking this vaccination.
  • For children, a child must be above 9 months to be able to take this vaccination.

  • The cost of the vaccination will be prescribed by concerned doctors/hospital staffs.



ValidityEdit

  • Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is valid for 10 days after vaccination.

  • Everyone must consult their doctors before getting vaccinated.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women and senior citizens with weakened immune systems such as those with HIV are also recommended not to get the vaccine.
