South Africa - Online Register as Start-Up Company

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents to Register as Start-Up Company
Step 2 : In order to apply for registering as Start-up Company electronically, click on the following link: Apply Online
Step 3 : Find the “Register” section on the right side of the page and click on the type of company which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image that you want to register.

Step 4 : Next click on the "click here" Button which is highlighted in "Red" in the below image.

Step 5 : Now under "Create a new Customer Code" click on the "Click here" option to get the Customer Registration page.

Step 6 : In the page that opens, click “CUSTOMER REGISTRATION” option which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image on the left side.

Step 7 : In the ID number verification page, answer the yes or no question as applicable. Click “YES” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image if you have South African ID or “NO” button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image if not.

Step 8 : If yes, you will have to enter the "ID number" and your "Surname" in the relevant fields and click “CONTINUE” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 9 : If not, you will have to enter your "Passport number" and click “CONTINUE” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 10 : In the next page, enter all the Personal Details and Contact Information and click “Register” button. Registration success message and your customer code will be displayed in the next page. Click “Continue” button to proceed.
Step 11 : In the next page, you will have to create a password for your account. Type the password that you want in the relevant and update any of the already entered details if you want, as applicable and click “Update” button.
Step 12 : Update success message will appear. After that you can use the Customer code created and password to login in the following link: Link Enter the details respectively and click “Log in” button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 13 : In “Select Profile Settings” tab, select the applicable option and click “Save” button. Click “OK” button in the dialogue that appears and proceed to login again.
Step 14 : After completing Customer Registration you need to do Name reservation for your company and finally Registration application with fees payment.
Step 15 : Complete all the processes as applicable to the company that you choose and also upload or email the signed documents and supporting documents as instructed in the procedure.
Step 16 : After all the processes have got completed, the concerned authorities will proceed to make the amendments for the registration process.
Step 17 : The applicant can obtain any information regarding the progress of his/her request, from the office where the application has been made.
