Procedure

1. The death must be registered within a year, and filed at the municipality where it occurred.
2. Submit a completed application for registration.
3. Present identification and submit all the required documents.

Eligibility

Who may file the application:

• The surviving spouse or a relative (must be 21 years old).
• The doctor who attended the deceased, or any person over 21 who has knowledge of the fact that it is presented with documentation.
