Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply or register Public Benefit Organisations in Zambia, the applicant will have to contact the Zambia Revenue Authority, please tap on the following link to view contact details: link.
2. Make sure to have all the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant upon visiting the Zambia Revenue Authority office, find the form here: form.
4. Once understanding the guideline properly, the applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form.
5. Submit the application form with necessary attachments to the office.
6. Pay the fee as given in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. After the completion and verification of all the required documents, the certificate will be accessible.
8. Collect the registration certificate from the office in a stipulated Period of Time.

• Rules/Constitution for The Institution (Certified Copy).
• Latest Available Accounts/Financial Statements for Institutions which have been in operation for more than one year or Bank Statements for Institutions which have been in operation for less than one year(Certified Copy).
• Certificate of Registration/Incorporation (Certified Copy).
• Tpin Certificate (Certified Copy).
• Proof of Payee Registration.
• Articles of Association if the Entity is a Limited Company by Guarantee (Certified Copy).
• Proof of Carrying Out Public Benefit Activities.
