Apply Online:

  1. To Register with MSME, the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
  2. The applicant has to click “For New Entrepreneurs who are not Registered yet as MSME or those with EM-II”
  3. Enter the Aadhaar Number and Name and click on “Validate & Generate OTP”.
  4. Once verification is done, the applicant has to fill in the PAN details. The applicant can select the “No” option if the applicant doesn’t have a PAN card yet.
  5. Post this, the applicant will have to fill the form having field numbers 5-24.
  6. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete forms are not accepted)
  7. At the end of the form, an OTP request will be sent to the applicant’s phone again. Enter the OTP and verification code to submit the form successfully.
  8. After successful registration, a “Thank You” message will appear with a Registration Number. Keep that number for future reference.
  9. Once the application form is submitted, it can take 2-3 days for the approval and registration to complete.
  10. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  11. If the application gets approved, the registration will be done and the MSME certificate will be delivered to the applicant via email.
  12. The entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit

  • Any person who aspires to establish a micro, small, or medium enterprise can avail of Udyam Registration.
  • Proprietorships, Hindu Undivided Family (HUF), Partnership Firms, One Person Companies, Private Limited Companies, Limited Companies, Producer Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, any association of persons, cooperative societies, or any other undertaking can obtain MSME Udyam Registration in India.

  • The Fee for this procedure is free of cost.



ValidityEdit

  • MSME certificate is valid till the time the business is operational. However, a provisional MSME certificate is valid only for 5 years.
