Jamaica - Online Obtain Phytosanitary Import Permit

- Step 2 : To apply for a phytosanitary import permit, you should submit your application through the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Trade System (MOAT).Visit the online system through this link: Apply Online
- Step 3 : Once on the website, if you are a registered user Login to the system by entering the “username” and “password” and click on the “Login” button which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow in the below image.

- Step 4 : If you are a newuser Click on the “Not yet registered? click here” hyperlink which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image to create an account.

- Step 5 : Fill all the required details for registration.

- Step 6 : After filling all the details click on the “Continue” Button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

- Step 7 : Upon successful registration, you will be logged into your account, where you can select phytosanitary import permit and submit your application. You can use the provided instructions to complete the application.
- Step 8 : Upon submission of the application, an email will be sent to your address advising you of the approval and how to proceed.
- Step 9 : Once your application is approved you will be required to enter your account and complete applying for the phytosanitary import permit and pay the application fee online using a debit or credit card or in-person at the Cashier located at the Veterinary Services Division, MICAF 193 Old Hope Road, and Kingston 6.
- Step 10 : Upon payment, the VSD will process and produce the phytosanitary import permit.
- Step 11 : Visit the VSD office to collect the phytosanitary import permit.
